The challenge
Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Barcelona, Xceed set out to revolutionise the nightlife and events industry with an ambitious vision: building a dual-sided platform that serves both event-goers looking for the best nights out and the venues and festivals that need professional management tools. The core challenge was creating a technology ecosystem capable of connecting both sides of the market seamlessly, scaling internationally without losing the local experience that defines each city.
Our solution
We collaborated with Xceed on the development of their technology ecosystem, working with Next.js and React Native to build a platform operating across 125+ cities and 15+ countries.
Discovery app (B2C)
- AI-powered recommendation engine that personalises event suggestions based on each user’s tastes and history
- Ticketing system with ticket purchasing, guest lists and VIP table reservations with bottle service
- Discovery experience optimised for exploring each city’s nightlife offering, with filters by event type, music genre and area
Xceed Pro — Management suite (B2B)
- Complete SaaS platform for venues and festivals: ticket sales, door management, table reservations, customer CRM, marketing tools and advanced analytics
- Xceed Access: on-site check-in app with multi-device scanning and offline capability, ensuring operations continue even without connectivity
- Integrated payment processing to manage all transactions centrally
Scalable architecture
- AWS cloud infrastructure with CloudFront for global content distribution and low latency
- Native iOS and Android apps with performance optimised for nightlife environments
- Payment system with Adyen integration for secure processing across multiple European markets
Results
The platform has established itself as a benchmark in the digital nightlife sector, with over 10 million unique annual attendees and more than 30 million bookings processed. Xceed operates in 125+ cities and partners with leading venues such as Pacha, Razzmatazz and Fabrik Madrid, among others. The app holds a 5.0-star rating on Google Play Store and 4.5/5 on Trustpilot, and Xceed was recognised by the Financial Times as one of the fastest-growing companies in Europe in 2025.
