Juan Gutiérrez Ortega

Co-founded Soamee in Madrid in 2017 alongside Javier Manzano, after the idea for the agency took shape during a trip to Kyoto. The company name is a nod to Sōami, the Japanese painter and landscape architect, and to the ordered aesthetic of Zen gardens the two founders wanted to bring to software.

With a background in startups and consulting, he runs the operational side of Soamee: how projects are organised, how teams are coordinated, and how delivery commitments to clients are met.
