What advantage does BigQuery have over the GA4 interface?
BigQuery gives you access to raw event-level data, without sampling or interface limitations. You can perform complex cohort analyses, join GA4 data with your CRM or ERP data, create custom attribution models, retain data indefinitely (vs 14 months in GA4), and build advanced audiences for remarketing. It is the difference between a standard report and a custom analysis.
How do adblockers and privacy affect the data?
Adblockers can block between 15% and 30% of traffic. The solution is implementing server-side tagging with your own server (first party) that adblockers cannot detect. Additionally, the Measurement Protocol allows sending events from the server without browser dependency.
