The challenge
Orquest needed a mobile application that allowed retail managers to handle schedules, shifts and staffing coverage in real time. The complexity: operating across 42 markets with different labour regulations, thousands of simultaneous employees, and the need for AI to optimise shift assignments based on forecasted demand.
Our solution
We developed the mobile application in React Native, enabling simultaneous deployment on iOS and Android. The app integrates with Orquest’s AI engine to display optimised planning, manage shift swaps between employees, and provide real-time coverage dashboards.

Technical evolution
The relationship with Orquest has included two major redesigns of the platform, reflecting continuous improvement and modernisation. Each iteration incorporated feedback from real users at chains like McDonald’s and Zara, enabling us to refine the UX for high-pressure in-store contexts.
